**Hi.** I'm Joshua Wise, and this is my web site. I'm an engineer of varying sorts; most recently, I have been working as an ASIC architect, but also exciting to me is programming language theory, as well as the concepts behind various physical engineering challenges. Periodically I build things that I'm excited to share; one of the things that I'm proudest of is [[projects#virtexsquared|VirtexSquared]], a system-on-chip on a Virtex-5. (For more on my work, see the [[projects]] section of my site.) In 2011, I graduated from [[http://www.cmu.edu|Carnegie Mellon University]] with an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering; originally, I'm from [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wayland,_Massachusetts|Wayland, Massachusetts]]. As of July 2011, I work as an ASIC architect at [[http://www.nvidia.com/|NVIDIA Corporation]], and live in Mountain View, CA. And, since October 2015, I hold an [[https://www.yogaalliance.org/TeacherPublicProfile?tid=128631|RYT 200]] accreditation by way of the [[http://www.yogajill.com/events.html|Bindu Yoga Teacher Training]] program, and you can find me teaching at [[http://pgyoga.com/sunnyvale/sv_schedule.html|Planet Granite in Sunnyvale]] on Thursday mornings at 6:30am. | **Hi.** I'm Joshua Wise, and this is my web site.
